Our GPs and expert orthopaedic and radiology Consultants can help you to optimise your physical health or manage a new or long standing injury or condition. We have consultations available for shoulder, back, hip, knee, upper and lower limb, foot and ankle problems, along with other bone and joint conditions. Some of our clinicians also have specific experience and interest in sports medicine. Our services include:

  • Specialist consultations with orthopaedic surgeons
  • State-of-the-art x-ray facilities
  • Muscle, tendon and ligament ultrasounds
  • Comprehensive blood tests
  • Sport consultations and specific assessments

Ultrasound and X-ray facilities are available on site to ensure your Consultant has all the information necessary to make a specific diagnosis and tailor a treatment plan.

Another treatment we offer is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy. This involves injection of a concentration of a patient’s own platelets, which can help to heal injured tendons ligaments, muscles and joints. Our specialists take a blood sample and use the platelets from this sample to inject directly into the injured or inflamed tissue and release growth factors that stimulate and increase tissue repair.

The injections can greatly reduce the need for anti-inflammatory medication or strong pain killers and, as the substance is directly from the patient’s own blood, there is no risk of negative reaction.
