Gynaecology & Fertility

One-Stop Female Fertility Assessment, Treatment and Monitoring

One in 6 couples experience difficulty conceiving. Those who do not conceive within six to twelve months are naturally often worried about the possible causes. If you are finding it difficult to get pregnant or have experienced a recent miscarriage, we can offer appropriate investigations and fertility advice in a timely, discreet, and sensitive manner.  View our Fertility Assessment eBook

At ROC Clinic we provide an easy, reliable, and fast access one-stop female fertility assessment service which include:

• Blood tests
• Pelvic Ultrasound scans
• Tubal assessment (Hystero Contrast Sonography): Investiagtion performed under ultrasound guidance to asses wheather the fallopian tubes are open (patent) in addition to assessing endometrium (lining of the womb).

GP referral is not required for Gynaecology/Fertility investigations, which are performed by our fertility experts onsite at our modern clinic in Aberdeen.

Rapid access to test results reduces lengthy waiting times and therefore mitigates stress and anxiety. Our Consultants can then agree individualised management plan.

Investigations may reveal that there is no specific cause for fertility problems and reassure you about conceiving spontaneously. Where a specific cause is identified like polycystic ovarian syndrome( PCOS) causing ovulation problems (no monthly ovulation), we can offer an ovulation induction programme. Ovulation induction medications can help achieve ovulation more regularly, thereby increasing the chance of pregnancy.
