Dr Benedict Gandakusuma is a highly experienced Consultant Breast Radiologist with a specialist focus on breast imaging and diagnostics. Registered with the General Medical Council, Dr Gandakusuma has been practicing breast radiology since 2008 and has been on the GMC Specialist Register for clinical radiology since 2016. 

Dr Gandakusuma graduated in medicine from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) in 1998. He completed his radiology residency at the University Hospital Groningen in the Netherlands and undertook further specialised training in cardiac imaging at the University Hospital Utrecht.

His early clinical background also includes surgery and plastic surgery residencies in Belgium and Indonesia, reflecting a deep foundational understanding of patient care and medical imaging.

Dr Gandakusuma brings extensive expertise in both breast screening and symptomatic breast imaging. His clinical practice spans a full range of diagnostic modalities, including digital mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, with proficiency in performing image-guided biopsies such as stereotactic, vacuum-assisted, and ultrasound-guided procedures.
