Dr Smriti Bhatta is an experienced fertility specialist with experience in managing individuals and couples with fertility issues. She is a British fertility society accredited trainer for Pelvic ultrasound, infertility management, assisted conception and donor conception.

Dr. Bhatta graduated from Calcutta Medical College, India in 2000 and did her postgraduate master’s degree in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) from the same institution in 2003.

After relocating to the UK in 2005, she achieved membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG) and completed her core training in Sheffield teaching hospitals. She acquired the Specialist registration status in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2020 and continues in her role as Senior Clinician for the University of Aberdeen led assisted conception services.

Dr Bhatta is a Senior Clinician / Clinical Fellow at NHS Grampian Reproductive Unit and Deputy Lead for healthcare assessments and Senior Clinical Lecturer (Scholarship) at the University of Aberdeen.

She believes in providing personalised and empathic care. She is passionate about promoting awareness of reproductive health and guiding those who seek help regarding their fertility status to make informed decisions.

Dr Bhatta is available to see patients for face to face or remote consultations on a pre-booked appointment basis. No referral is required.
