The availability of new weight loss medications (not yet available on the NHS in most endocrine scenarios) has been beneficial for managing certain endocrine conditions, such as PCOS and hypogonadism, which improve with weight loss.

Diagnosis And Treatment

Diagnosis and treatment may include blood tests to measure hormone levels, imaging studies to evaluate glandular function and structure, and hormonal stimulation or suppression tests to assess glandular responsiveness. Treatment options for endocrine disorders often involve medication, hormone replacement therapies, lifestyle modifications, and sometimes surgical interventions.
