When should I visit the Travel Clinic?

You are advised to visit us at least six weeks before you travel to discuss any aspect of your trip where extra consideration needs to be given to your health. It is especially advisable that you consult with our doctors before travelling if you have a medical condition that may be affected by your trip. Depending on your condition, it may be advisable to consult with a doctor before you book, to discuss the suitability of your trip.

Although we recommend booking a consultation at least 6 weeks prior to your leave date, it is never too late to seek advice, and you can always get in touch with our clinic to enquire about our services.

What should I expect during a Travel Consultation?

During a travel health consultation, we will discuss all aspects of your trip, including location, activities involved, and travel. We will then use this information to advise on any precautions and adjustments you may wish to consider, and any immunisations or preventative medication if appropriate.

We offer all routine immunisations as per childhood and teenage immunisation schedules, we well as additional vaccines for travel or other requirements.
