What to Expect at Your Initial Weight Loss Consultation

Our comprehensive weight loss support consultation provides a full health assessment to understand your weight challenges and create a tailored treatment plan. Your first appointment will include a detailed 45-minute face-to-face assessment, divided into two parts:

 

15 minutes with a nurse for general observations, including:

  • Height, Weight, Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Blood Pressure (BP)
  • Abdominal circumference
  • Body composition analysis

 

30 minutes with a GP for:

  • Comprehensive medical history review
  • Physical examination and assessment of how existing health conditions may impact weight management
  • Discussion of potential causes of weight challenges and treatment options

 

Additional Tests: Depending on your health needs, your GP may recommend blood tests or a gut health analysis to support your personalised care plan.

Medical Weight Loss Treatments & Ongoing Support

Our weight loss treatment plans are tailored to support healthy, sustainable weight loss. The service includes:

Prescription Weight Loss Medication: Medically approved weight loss injections and oral weight loss tablets for eligible patients.

Regular Follow-Up Appointments: Every 4 weeks, a 15-minute face-to-face GP review for:

  • Weight, body stat, and abdominal measurements
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Monitoring medication side effects
  • Issuing repeat prescriptions, if required 

 

Nutritional and Lifestyle Support: Dietary advice from our weight loss doctors to complement medical treatment. 

Further Investigations: Blood tests and other assessments as needed.
