Professional Profile and Experience

Dr Wahid graduated from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, in 2003 before undertaking his postgraduate medical training in the UK.

 

He initially trained in Acute Medicine and subsequently worked for several years in Elderly Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine. His experience as a hospital physician provided him with a broad range of clinical skills and knowledge, enabling him to manage patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.

 

In 2014, Dr Wahid entered General Practice and began his career as a family doctor. Since 2017, he has been working as a Family Physician, developing a particular interest in providing comprehensive, personalised care to patients of all ages.

 

Dr Wahid combines his strong medical background with a genuine compassion for his patients and their families. He believes in listening carefully to patients, understanding their individual needs and working with them to develop appropriate treatment and preventative care plans.

 

He also has a special interest in musculoskeletal (MSK) medicine and joint injections, which he uses as part of the management of a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

 

Dr Wahid provides consultations for a wide range of medical concerns, with particular areas of interest including:
