Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Scottish women and the earlier cancer is diagnosed the higher the chance of approved treatment to improve outcomes.

2D mammography is the standard screening technology, but at ROC, we offer 3D mammography that allows our specialists to see more of the breast, especially for patients with dense breast tissue. Dense breasts make it harder for doctors to see breast cancers on 2D mammograms but also increases a woman’s risk for developing breast cancer. 3D mammography therefore makes early detection much easier.

We are the only private facility in Scotland to have available 3D mammography facilities supported by state of the art AI (Artificial Intelligence) interpretation support. We offer this method of breast assessment to all women.
