Professional Profile and Experience
Bev MacLennan is ROC’s Imaging Manager. After qualifying as a Diagnostic Radiographer, she worked initially in Nuclear Medicine before discovering her passion for MRI.
Having been involved in the development of the NHS MRI service here in Aberdeen and gaining experience in a range of MRI imaging, Bev moved to London where she was responsible for the management of the MRI service for a private healthcare facility in Wimbledon.
On her return to Aberdeen, she accepted a role as a research radiographer at the University of Aberdeen’s 3T MRI scanner. Bev then went on to become Lead Superintendent where she was responsible for the management and development of both the research and clinical service involving a wide range of advanced and specialised imaging.
During this time Bev also obtained a number of postgraduate qualifications including a PgC in Clinical Reporting making her one of a handful of radiographers in Scotland qualified to report MSK MRI. Most recently she obtained a MSc in Medical Imaging.
Bev is excited to be joining the ROC team and to be developing the diagnostic imaging service in Aberdeen to provide our clients with a range of imaging utilising the best of cutting edge technology and equipment.
She is a member of the Health Care Professions Council and the Society of Radiographers.
