One-Stop Female Fertility Assessment, Treatment and Monitoring

One-Stop Female Fertility Assessment, Treatment and Monitoring

At ROC Clinic we provide an easy, reliable, and fast access one-stop female fertility assessment service which includes:

  • Consultations
  • Blood tests
  • Pelvic Ultrasound (scans)
  • Tubal assessment (Hystero Contrast Sonography): Investigation performed under ultrasound guidance to assess whether the fallopian tubes are open (patent) in addition to assessing the endometrium (lining of the womb)

GP referral is not required for Gynaecology/Fertility investigations which are performed by our fertility experts onsite at our clinic in Aberdeen.

Rapid access to test results reduces lengthy waiting times and therefore mitigates stress and anxiety. Thereafter, our fertility specialists can then agree an individualised management plan.

Investigations may reveal that there is no specific cause for fertility problems (unexplained infertility) and reassure you about conceiving spontaneously. Where a specific cause is identified (ie., polycystic ovarian syndrome – PCOS), which often results in irregular or no monthly ovulation, we can offer treatment known as ‘ovulation induction’. Ovulation induction medications can help achieve ovulation more regularly, thereby increasing the chance of pregnancy.

I had minor surgery with Sathis Wijemanne last week, and he was excellent. Sathis was very friendly and explained everything clearly before the surgery took place. I couldn't believe how efficient and painless the entire process was. I would highly recommend Sathis to anyone looking to have a minor surgical procedure done.
