Yatin is currently the Paediatric and Neonatal Surgeon at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. He has the ability to perform the full range of paediatric general surgical operations. His particular areas of interest are gastrointestinal, thoracic and oncological surgery. He uses minimally invasive techniques, where appropriate, in the diagnosis and management of patients and is highly proficient in diagnostic and therapeutic Upper GI endoscopy.

He works in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams locally, nationally and internationally to maintain current high standards of care and advance the treatment of surgical conditions in children. His knowledge and experience of managed clinical networks has helped him collaborate with colleagues around Scotland to ensure good quality general paediatric surgery is provided locally including in rural environments.
